Wilmington Police make “Black Magic” heroin bust

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police say they’ve found the people responsible for selling the deadly “Black Magic” heroin.

Yesterday narcotics agents investigating three fatal heroin overdoses arrested 22-year-old Rashad Omar Williams and 21-year-old Kenneth Tyrale Gore.

When police arrested Williams, they said he had 99 doses of Black Magic heroin in his possession.

SABLE helped track down Gore after he drove off from police when they attempted to stop his car. Officers say they found 32 doses of heroin on him.

Both men face several charges. They are in the New Hanover County Jail.
