Wilmington Riverwalk falls to 8th on USA Today’s annual best riverwalks list

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Wilmington Riverwalk has fallen another spot on the USA Today’s annual list of best riverwalks in the country.

The landmark finished 8th this year, continuing the downward trend since the riverwalk placed 2nd in 2021, coming in 3rd in 2022 and 7th in 2023.

This year voters had a list of 20 riverwalks to choose from.

Smale Riverfront Park in Cincinnati, Ohio was voted the best in the country for 2024.
