WPD: Citizen complaints lead to arrest of three on drug charges
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Police say they found several guns inside a Wilmington home when they arrested a trio on drug charges after getting numerous citizen complaints.
Wilmington Police say they searched a home at 809 S. 15th Street early Wednesday morning after getting warrants to investigate the residence. Officers say Bobby Fulmore, 30, Jerry Godfrey, 25, and Melissa Moore, 26, were all arrested on various drug charges.
Fulmore faces charges for possession with the intent to manufacture, sell or deliver a schedule II controlled substance, possession with the intent to sell or deliver marijuana, maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Godfrey is charged with possession with the intent to sell or deliver a schedule II and marijuana, maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Moore is charged with maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Detectives say they seized a rifle, shotgun and pistol from inside the home, along with several different drugs and packaging materials. New Hanover County Animal Services also took four adult pit bulls and several puppies from the home.
Police say SWAT, gang and narcotics units all worked on the investigation.
