WWAY’s 5th Quarter – September 12

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Friday’s 5th Quarter was action packed despite the fact we kept our eye on the weather all night long. The first half of the Hoggard game was clearly a spectator’s delight. It was a mixture of dynamic plays combined with a bit of intrigue. We had a lengthy recap of the Hoggard game. Unfortunately, it’ll go down as a no contest because a mutually agreed makeup date is not available. We have highlights from the Whiteville-Clinton football affair. Plus, we showcase South Brunswick Cougar Malik Douglas. He’ll be playing for NC State next season. We also showcased current NC State football standout Pharoah McKever.
