The Laney Buccaneers recently participated in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Laney head football coach Ashaad Yeoman and Laney football director of media relations Cori Stukes challenged the football teams at Ashley, Hoggard and New Hanover to follow suit. It's been a tough month for Hoggard head football coach Scott Braswell in regard to his health, but Braswell will be on the sidelines on Friday night at the BB&T Jamboree. In fact he'll also coach in the regular season opener before heading to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota for surgery to remove a cancerous tumor. Full story...
