videoOn Wednesday it seemed like every team from our region won in the state playoffs. The New Hanover boys won, Whiteville boys, West Brunswick boys, Trask boys, East Bladen girls, East Columbus girls, Ashley girls and Laney girls all won. All of those teams will advance to the third round on Friday. The home schedule is now complete for the UNCW men's basketball team. Duke & North Carolina both appear to be back on track in men's basketball, but that's not the case for Buzz Peterson's UNCW squad. The Seahawks squandered a 13 point halftime lead on Saturday.
