Man shot at Robert Strange Park

A man was shot around 8 o'clock Sunday evening at Robert Strange Park in the 500 block of 9th Street, according to the Wilmington Police Department. The man is about 35 years old and has been transported to the New Hanover County Regional Medical Center. Police say his gunshot wound is not life-threatening.

Two brothers sentenced in North Carolina terror case

video Hysen Sherifi of Raleigh was sentenced Friday to four life sentences to be served on top of 45 years for his involvement in a homegrown terrorist plot involving six Raleigh-area Muslims. His brother Shkumbin Sherifi , plead guilty in late 2012, to plotting to behead a witness in his brother's case.
