Art League of Leland annual art show and sale

LELAND, NC (WWAY) — The Art League of Leland opened its annual “It’s ALL Art Show and Sale” on Thursday at the Leland Cultural Arts Center. The juried art exhibit runs through Saturday.

Now in its sixth year, the show features a curated selection of two-dimensional and three-dimensional art, as well as photography. Artists from across the country—and locally in the Cape Fear region—submitted their work for consideration.

“All the winners know they were awarded last night at our opening reception,” said Barbara Hubbard, the league’s co-founder and exhibition co-chair. “I think there were about 375 pieces of art that were submitted for the show from 130 artists or something like that.”

The show also includes a raffle, with proceeds going to Brunswick Family Assistance. The funds will be used to purchase art kits for distribution to local families.

The Leland Cultural Arts Center is located at 1212 Magnolia Village Way. Admission to the show is free and open to the public.
