Beautiful weather for this weekend

(WWAY) — If you are heading outdoors this weekend, conditions will be perfect!

Today and this weekend high pressure will remain in charge bringing very nice weather for the Azalea Fest in Wilmington. Look for mainly sunny skies today and into this weekend. Highs will reach the mid 70s today and near 80 this weekend! The high pressure system moves over the Atlantic early next week but continues to control our weather keeping dry conditions in place. Look for mostly sunny skies next Monday with sunshine and scattered clouds next Tuesday. Highs will near 80 to begin next week before reaching the lower 80s next Tuesday and Wednesday. No appreciable rainfall is expected over the next 7 days and with moderate to severe drought in place… be very careful with flame and heed the North Carolina statewide burn burn in place.
