BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — For the second time this month, a Bladen County Deputy has rescued a dog from potential harm.

Sgt. Korey Bryant was getting gas early Wednesday morning at the Minuteman in Tar Heel when he saw a puppy walking in the road.

“I rode over to check on her and she hopped right in my patrol car,” Sgt. Bryant said. “She looked like she belongs to someone so I checked the surrounding houses.”

Bladen County Animal Control was called and Sgt. Bryant met with them.

If this is your sweet puppy, you are asked to contact the Bladen County Animal Shelter.
