Boil water advisory in effect for 100 CFPUA customers

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Cape Fear Public Utility Authority issues a precautionary boil water advisory while crews work to repair a water main break.

CFPUA says the advisory is in effect for the area near the intersection of S. 17th and Ann Streets and affects about 100 customers.

People living in the 100 and 200 blocks of 16th Street, 100- 300 blocks of 17th Street, 1500 and 1600 blocks of both Ann and Orange Street, as well as 1702 Orange Street and 1702 Wrightsville Avenue should expect a 4-8 hour service outage.
