BRUNSWICK COUNTY (WWAY) — The unofficial municipal election results are in for Brunswick County.

Mayor Races

Brenda Bozeman has won the Leland mayor vote with 2,217 of the 2,417 ballots cast.

Ella Jane Marston has won the Bolivia mayor vote with 10 of the 11 ballots cast.

Mike Allen has won the Belville mayor vote with 129 of the 133 ballots cast.

A write-in candidate has won the Northwest mayor vote with 138 of the 186 ballots cast.

Mel Miller has won the Sandy Creek mayor vote with 30 of the 54 ballots cast.

Jeff Winecoff has won the Boiling Springs Lakes mayor vote with 613 of the 656 ballots cast.

Joe Pat Hatem has won the Southport mayor vote with 833 of the 1,754 ballots cast.

Gary Ross Galloway Jr. has won the Varnamtown mayor vote with 70 of the 73 ballots cast.

George Kassler has won the Caswell Beach mayor vote with 81 of the 81 ballots cast.

Donna Prince Long has won the Calabash mayor vote with 80 of the 83 ballots cast.

Dan Conte has won the Carolina Shore mayor vote with 464 of the 470 ballots cast.

J. Alan Holden has won the Holden Beach mayor vote with 230 of the 427 ballots cast.

Debbie S. Smith has won the Ocean Isle Beach mayor vote with 305 of the 497 ballots cast.

Shannon (Hotdog) Phillips has won the Sunset Beach mayor vote with 1,118 of the 1,159 ballots cast.

15,156 out of 81,618 eligible voters (18.57%) took part in the Brunswick County municipal election, according to the State Board of Elections.
