Elizabethtown man arrested and charged with multiple drug and gun charges

ELIZABETHTOWN, NC (WWAY) — An Elizabethtown man was arrested Monday after drugs and guns were found in his home.

The Bladen County Sheriff’s Office Vice/Narcotics Unit said they executed a search warrant in the 2000 block of Cromartie Road in Elizabethtown. During the search, they located drugs and guns and arrested a man.

Christopher Hester, 52, was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm by a felon, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver Schedule II controlled substance and maintain a dwelling for the keeping and selling of controlled substances.

Hester is being held at the Bladen County Detention Center under no bond.

The sheriff’s office says this was part of their investigation into drug and gun sales in the Elizabeth and Bladenboro area.
