Emergency sewer repair to shut down lanes on Oleander Dr.

Wilmington, NC (WWAY) — The Cape Fear Public Utility Authority will be doing an emergency sewer repair tomorrow, May 20, at the corner of S. College Road and Oleander Drive.  It’s close to where the Walgreens is located.

From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., CFPUA crews will need to shut down the right-hand (outside lane) of westbound Oleander Drive.  The right-hand (outside lane) of southbound College Road is likely to be affected as well.

The CFPUA says they will be mindful of the morning and evening rush hours.  If work is not completed close to 4 p.m., the work will stop and continue on Thursday.

Given the high level of traffic passing through this intersection, the CFPUA asks everyone to please be patient and slow down.
