Extras, stand-ins still needed for Zooey Deschanel movie being filmed in Kure Beach

KURE BEACH, NC (WWAY) — A new film staring Zooey Deschanel in Kure Beach is looking for more people for unique roles on different days.

According to a post on Facebook, TW Cast & Recruit is looking for two stand-ins who will work most days Monday through Friday between April 18 and June 7, plus a camera test day on Friday, April 12.

Pay is guaranteed $137.50/10 hours and time and a half for every hour that exceeds the 10th. Click here to see the list of stand-in roles and sizes needed. The agency said it is very important that those submitting are a close match in sizes.

Shooting is also set for Tuesday, April 23, where actors will be portrayed on a dog beach. According to TW Cast and Recruit, pay is guaranteed at $123 dollars for ten hours and time and a half for every hour that goes over. They are looking for extras who can portray roles as a city worker, mail carrier, dog walker, and beach wait staff.
