Google map shows Christmas lights in Pender County
PENDER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — If you enjoy seeing Christmas lights during the holiday season and you live near Topsail Island or Hampstead, there is a Google map that will point you in the right direction.
Matt Headley started doing this two years ago for the Topsail area. It has been growing ever since. He created a customized Google Map that you can use on smart phones.
This year, there is also a Facebook group dedicated to the map. Click here to see the Facebook group Topsail Area Christmas Lights Map.
You can help add to the map too. If you spot a new display to add, Headley said you can comment with a house number and road.
