H2GO’s Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment Plant holds ribbon cutting ceremony

BRUNSWICK COUNTY (WWAY) — In Brunswick County, the new H2G0 Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment Plant held its ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday.

Many Brunswick County elected officials were there for the big moment. The water treated at the plant is coming from hundreds of feet in the the ground. H2GO says that means it is not contaminated with PFAS such as GenX. The plant has been under construction for three years and claims to provide cleaner drinking water to residents in Brunswick County.

“I think just the satisfaction in knowing that our customers are drinking contaminate free water now. We go to the refrigerator, get a glass of water, you don’t have to worry about the PFAS contamination,” said Bob Walker, Executive Director of H2GO.
