More than $30,000 raised for Muscular Dystrophy Association through annual ‘Fill the Boot’ campaign

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Members of the New Hanover County Fire Rescue recently collected more than $30,000 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association through their ‘Fill the Boot’ campaign.

The annual fundraiser for the organization is designed to make sure individuals living with neuromuscular disease live longer and more independent lives.

“Thank you for helping our local firefighters make the impossible possible,” the New Hanover County Fire Rescue said on Facebook.
