Pet Pals: Energetic and friendly pup looking for forever home

WILMINGTON (WWAY) — This week’s Pet Pal is Sugar — she’s a 4-year-old Pit Bull.

The New Hanover Humane Society says she is very affectionate toward people and is always up for a good cuddle. Sugar is very athletic and needs an active owner who can keep up with her.

Unfortunately Sugar has a rough past. She was found with bullet fragments in her side but is now perfectly healthy. She would prefer to be the only pet in a home.
