Pictures recovered 2 years after camera fell in lake

GRAND HAVEN, Mich. (WZZM) — Proof of the most amazing catch from a Grand Haven charter boat this summer is in the picture seen here. It’s not the four fish on the left; it’s that small digital camera on the right.

“The thing fell out and flopped into Lake Michigan,” explained Deb Hays of Whitehall. The camera belonged to her husband. “When something falls in a Great Lake, your chance of getting it back is slim to none.”

The camera had been underwater in Lake Michigan near Grand Haven for more than two years.
