Police officers finish pizza delivery after crash involving pizza delivery driver

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) — Two members of the Charleston Police Department can add a new skill to their resumes.
Last Sunday, two officers responded to a two-car crash on Bees Ferry Road in Charleston. The incident involved a Dominos delivery driver with a car full of pizza.
Officers Pasquale Cuccaro and Robert Haid arrived on the scene that afternoon. The delivery driver was taken to MUSC hospital downtown to get treatment.
When the officers checked her car, they found multiple pizzas in the back seat and decided to deliver them to the waiting customer.
The officers did visit the Dominos driver in the hospital after the special delivery and say she was surprised her deliveries were completed. Officials from the Charleston County Police say the victim is recovering from her injuries.
