Possibly month long effort to restore road damage in Ogden area

 NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) –  Earlier Sunday we combed north New Hanover County to see road conditions.

Overall main roads are clearing up, but many neighborhoods have severe impacts from the storm.

Middle Sound Loop Road had a portion that completely gave out. It was a portion of the road near the Middle Sound Marina or Harrison’s Marina.

The cave in exposed several cables as well as pipes.

Neighbors in the area have to go through the North Bend neighborhood to get out.

The work to get this road back to normal is unknown, but understandably will take some time possibly weeks to a month.
