‘Southern Living’ names Wilmington the south’s ‘best city on the rise’
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Port City has been named the south’s best city on the rise by ‘Southern Living’.
The popular magazine cited the area’s Hollywood scene, beaches and mild climate as reasons for the ranking.
Other publications have highlighted the region in recent years.
The Wilmington Riverwalk often gets top rankings as best in the country.
