Surf City man arrested on drug and firearm charges

SURF CITY, NC (WWAY) — A Pender County man is facing multiple charges after the Surf City Police Department found various drugs in his home while serving a search warrant.

Police say they found heroin, meth, marijuana, and Xanax in Larry Odell Franklin Junior’s home on Atkinson Point Road in Surf City.

He’s facing a number of felony charges including possession with intent to sell or deliver drugs and possession of a stolen firearm.

Franklin was brought to the Pender County Jail where he posted a $55,000 bond.
