Two charged after cans filled with weed found in car

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Deputies in the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office say two people are facing charges after several pounds of marijuana were found during traffic stops.

Deputies say Tameka Morgan, 37, and Glen Doyley, 30, are facing charges; Morgan is facing trafficking charges and Doyley is facing conspiracy charges.

Officials say Morgan was arrested after a traffic stop on Highway 17 in Calabash where they found more than 10 lbs of marijuana in coffee cans in the car.  They say Doyley conspired with Morgan to transport the weed.
