Warming Shelter to open for seven nights this week in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — An overnight, emergency pop-up shelter is opening this week to offer a warm place to stay for the homeless.
The shelter will open for seven nights, starting Tuesday, January 16 through Monday, January 22.
This year’s shelter will be hosted at Grace United Methodist Church at 401 Grace Street.
Anyone experiencing homelessness is welcome to check in at 5:30 p.m. each night.
Cots, blankets, hot meals and care items will be provided.
