Wilmington man a part of Super Bowl LVIII camera crew

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Millions of viewers watched the Super Bowl on Sunday, but one Wilmington man saw the game up, close and personal.
Sean Boring, who lives in Wilmington, is a camera man for CBS Sports and was a part of the camera crew for Super Bowl 58 between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers. Boring said he is proud of his crew and says the event took 164 cameras to shoot. Boring added that the game was a lot of hard work from his perspective and said that while it was a little overwhelming, seeing tons of celebrities and the amount of people was exciting. He explained some of his favorite parts of the game that he shot.
“We’re doing a lot of the replays, the slow mo replays that everybody see’s. So you know, the horse collar was one that stuck in my mind and then that last touchdown catch in overtime, the high speed replay in the end zone,” Boring said.
