Wilmington marks two years since last seeing snowflakes

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — It’s been two years since Wilmington picked up any snowfall.

January 29, 2022 was the last time the Port City saw any measurable snow, with 0.5″ falling.

The last substantial snow in the area was in January 0f 2018, when 3.8 inches collected.

No snow is in the forecast anytime soon.
