Investigators say Friday evening two girls ran a stop sign while riding a child's toy motorbike. Now those nearby tell us what they heard and saw that night. Witnesses, who did not want to go on camera, say Friday around 6 p.m. they heard a loud bang, followed by screams and several sirens near 8th and Campbell Streets, and they rushed outside to see what happened. Investigators are trying to figure out what caused a deadly crash that shut down traffic on Interstate 4 in DeLand,FL, for hours on Tuesday. Troopers said Mary Bullington, 61, of Southport, was driving erratically along I-4 in DeLand when she ran off the road and slammed into the back of a tractor-trailer that was parked on the shoulder. A power outage hit several homes near the 5900 block of Wrightsville Avenue in Wilmington Monday night. Police said a car crashed into a utility pole around 9 p.m. and knocked down power lines which cut off electricity to some homes. Full story...
