Jeremy Giovanni joined WWAY in April 2025 as a news producer, initially producing the 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. newscasts before moving to the 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. shows.

Jeremy began his career in television news at WRAL-TV in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he spent three years gaining hands-on newsroom experience. He started as a news production assistant, answering viewer phone calls from across the state, gathering information from law enforcement and first responders, and monitoring emails and social media for news tips and story ideas. He later transitioned into a video editing role, working closely with producers to edit video to scripts for newscasts. In that position, Jeremy also helped reporters and photographers meet deadlines and recorded and edited raw footage from daily events and breaking news.

Jeremy earned his degree in broadcasting and journalism from Western Carolina University. While in college, he worked with the university’s athletic department, operating cameras for live sports broadcasts on ESPN+.
