Cameron Art Museum announces winter programs

The Cameron Art Museum in Wilmington is kicking off the new year with a huge list of programming for children and adults.  The events include Martin Luther King holiday programming for kids, homeschooling help, painting classes, readings, yoga, and the return of Jazz@cam.

Johnson Elementary in Wilmington won't be going there next year. Instead, that building will be used by kids currently attending Snipes Elementary.

Twins sentenced for harassing neighbor

Two Wilmington men have pled guilty to felony breaking and entering. Twins Taylor and Ashley Fuller were given two years probation and 150 hours of community service for harassing former neighbor Jamessa Flippin-Perry.

Home invasion suspect pleads guilty

The suspect in a series of home invasions last year pled guilty to all of his charges Tuesday. Steven Lewis pled guilty to armed robbery, kidnapping and possession of a firearm by a felon.

Board of Education approves budget

The Board of Education approved the nearly $107 million 2007-2008 fiscal year budget. The county will receive $28.6 million of that, allowing for pay raises for teachers and coaches.
