This week’s Student Athlete of the Week suffered a health scare last year that cost her some of her sophomore season. She suffered a pneumonia diagnosis that required multiple surgeries and other procedures during her weeks-long stay.

Now back on the tennis court and soccer field as a junior for the Hoggard Vikings, Mia Neuwirth is using that experience to champion her passion of helping others.
