Supply pair arrested on multiple drug charges

SUPPLY, NC (WWAY) — Two people from Supply face multiple drug charges, including growing marijuana, after deputies with the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit arrest them Thursday.

A spokeswoman says Matthew Ryan Beach, 33, and Esther Virginia Todd, 29, are charged with felony possession of marijuana, possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver marijuana, manufacturing marijuana, maintaining a dwelling house used for keeping and selling marijuana, simple possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance, simple possession of a Schedule III controlled substance, resisting a public officer and possession of marijuana paraphernalia.

Beach and Todd were booked into the Brunswick County Jail under a $20,000 bond each.

Todd bonded out of jail, while Beach still sits behind bars.

Deputies credit their investigation to community tips and complaints.
