Friday's Full Court Press featured a come from behind victory by New Hanover against West Brunswick in a battle of first place versus second place in the Mideastern Conference. "I'm announcing today that we will continue all 19 of our sports programs," Chancellor Gary Miller announced to a crowded room at UNCW's Burney Center this morning. The Wilmington Sharks won their home opener on Wednesday night at Buck Hardee Field. The Sharks are off to a 2-0 start. The Portland Timbers beat the Wilmington Hammerheads in the US Open Cup. The CAA Baseball Championship is underway, but severe weather has been the winner so far. The UNCW baseball team won't hit the field until Thursday afternoon.
