The Cameron Art Museum in Wilmington is kicking off the new year with a huge list of programming for children and adults.  The events include Martin Luther King holiday programming for kids, homeschooling help, painting classes, readings, yoga, and the return of Jazz@cam.

CPFUA reminds customers to protect pipes from freezing

To help prevent pipes from bursting, CPFUA says that customers should drain water from outdoor plumbing and wrap pipes, or allow a trickle of water to run through the system. In addition, they should also temporarily turn off and drain irrigation systems.

Germany, Hungary give 1st vaccine shots ahead of EU rollout

The EU had originally planned for its nations to administer the first shots to the most vulnerable people in a coordinated effort on Sunday but the operator of an nursing home in Germany, where the first shots were given to dozens of people on Saturday, said that “every day that we wait is one day too many.”
