Cameron Art Museum announces winter programs

The Cameron Art Museum in Wilmington is kicking off the new year with a huge list of programming for children and adults.  The events include Martin Luther King holiday programming for kids, homeschooling help, painting classes, readings, yoga, and the return of Jazz@cam.

Carolina Beach was crowded Sunday afternoon, but it was all for a good cause. Life Rolls On held their annual event, allowing people with disabilities to go into the ocean and enjoy the surf.

Officials: Car bomb kills 2 UN staff outside mall in Libya

A bomb-laden vehicle exploded Saturday outside a shopping mall in Libya's eastern city of Benghazi, killing at least two U.N. security staff, health officials said. The attack came even as the country's warring sides said they accepted a cease-fire proposed by the U.N. aimed at halting combat in the capital Tripoli during an upcoming Muslim holiday.
