Cameron Art Museum announces winter programs

The Cameron Art Museum in Wilmington is kicking off the new year with a huge list of programming for children and adults.  The events include Martin Luther King holiday programming for kids, homeschooling help, painting classes, readings, yoga, and the return of Jazz@cam.

More flyers satisfied with airlines

Air travelers seem to be constantly complaining about fees, the lack of service and cramped seats on flights, but surprisingly their level of satisfaction with airlines is on the rise, a new survey finds.

Wrightsville Beach considers expanding "The Loop"

There’s been a lot of talk about widening the John Nesbitt Loop due to its heavy use and close quarters - reports the Lumina News - but no plans may become official before first speaking with the DOT (Department of Transportation) that owns a portion of the roads where sidewalks are wished to be expanded, said Katie Ryan, Wrightsville Beach Parks and Recreation program supervisor, during the town parks and recreation advisory committee meeting.
