Cameron Art Museum announces winter programs

The Cameron Art Museum in Wilmington is kicking off the new year with a huge list of programming for children and adults.  The events include Martin Luther King holiday programming for kids, homeschooling help, painting classes, readings, yoga, and the return of Jazz@cam.

Drug bust jails man on $3 million bond

Angel Cordova was arrested on four charges. The New Hanover County Vice and Narcotics Division found about 90 pounds of marijuana in Cordova's house off Suncoast Drive near Gordon Road.

State planning railway improvements for southeastern NC

videoThe state is making progress in plans to bring an improved railway system to southeastern North Carolina. Seven million dollars from the state budget could be used to eventually bring freight and passenger train services to our area. Supporters say it would reduce highway congestion between cities like Raleigh and Wilmington.

Few leads, no arrests made in man's murder

videoInvestigators say no arrests have been made in the Friday morning murder of 22-year-old Geoffrey Graham in New Hanover County. But the investigation continues. Early Friday morning Graham was shot dead in his home in the 2500 block of Bradfield Court.
