videoThe streak is over. West Bladen had a 17 game winning streak over East Bladen in boys basketball until Tuesday night. East Bladen's Hastin McGill hit the game winner to give East Bladen a 46-44 win. It was the first victory for East Bladen over West Bladen since 2005. Pender defeated Trask in boys hoops. The 2012 state champion Wildcat basketball team was honored prior to the New Hanover-New Bern game. Friday also featured a game in Leland that was marred by fan misconduct.
