Right now there are nearly 300 teenagers in town on a mission. Many of them have traveled across the country, on their own dime, to come work here for a week. Such an outing can make you feel all warm inside and WARM is why they are here.
With winter weather already here, many of us are turning up the heat at home. But some folks have broken or faulty heaters and cannot afford to get them fixed. That's where the Wilmington non-profit group WARM comes in.
Wilmington Area Rebuilding Ministry or WARM is heating up the Cape Fear this winter. WARM helps low-income, elderly and disabled residents in the area rebuild their homes and make their quality of life more livable.
