Nearly 5,000 spectators, mainly school children, packed into Trask Coliseum in order to watch the UNCW women's basketball team play NC A&T. Can Zack Allen develop into UNCW scoring threat?

videoThis season the UNCW men's basketball team has two players on the team that call Wilmington home. Former Hoggard Viking Zack Allen and former New Hanover Wildcat Freddie Jackson both reside in the Port City. Allen is a walk-on. He's in his first season at UNCW. Allen has only played in one game this season, but that may change soon if he keeps knocking down shots in practice from behind the arc. Full story...
