VCU didn't lead the entire game, but it sure did seem that way. The wonderful week came to a halting crash on Saturday for UNCW after two consecutive CAA wins. UNCW's conference record drops to 2-2 with the loss.

The UNCW men's basketball team remains undefeated in 2011. The Seahawks beat William & Mary on the road on Monday night 61-59 to improve UNCW's record to 1-1 in the CAA and 7-6 overall. The next three games for UNC Wilmington will all be CAA home games at Trask Coliseum.

We hope you caught our 11pm newscast on Wednesday night. WWAY had highlights from the UNCW-Campbell game in Buies Creek. Campbell only held the lead twice in the game. The Camels led early in the first half at 7-6 briefly. The Camels didn't take the lead again until 57-56 with a second to go on a 3 point buzzer beater. UNCW's Buzz Peterson is now 0-3 as a head coach in games played at Buies Creek.
