A handful of high school soccer squads from our region played second round state playoff games on Saturday. Based on the results we're now going to have a Wilmington vs. Wilmington matchup in the the third round of the state playoffs... It was only exhibition play, but UNCW hosted two basketball games on Saturday(men & women)... The upset of the day in ACC football occurred in Raleigh. Full story...

It's a boy! Brett & Megan Blizzard are proud parents of a bouncing, baby boy. Brett is UNCW's all-time leading scorer in basketball.
